Go Green with Envy,

what brought them together is their drive to create a new sound for the local market that’s long been thirsty for quality and structured music. Amidst the web ocean, the band was formed in August 2008 and is now comprised of vocalist Guthrie Munion, guitarist Haru Natividad, bassist Jino Manalo and drummer Bryan Duguil.

Playing strains of melodic post-hardcore, experimental and ambient music, recalling bands like Glassjaw, Underoath, Saosin and many more, the band painstakingly had drawn listeners from over the Internet and in venues around the Metro where they play.

More followers boomed after they have released their first single, “Without Us Knowing”, online and on the airwaves in July 2009. That same year, they have also been nominated under the Smart/URock College Band of the Year category in the NU 107 Rock Awards.

Recording in progress, their first EP is targeted to be released in late 2011. While keeping the rush of conventional hardcore hooks and breakdowns, anticipate a more vocally-driven approach that distinguishes their music from the rest.
